St. Bernadette has many talented voices and instrumentalists and has numerous choirs to lead the congregation in its musical expression of prayer. In addition to Sunday Masses, the choirs sing for Christmas, Holy Week, prayer services, Confirmations, Thanksgiving, and other feasts and special events. Members of all choirs should be able to make a commitment to attending most of the rehearsals and to singing at Mass most Saturdays or Sundays.

The Adult Choir sings every Sunday from September through June, sharing their gifts at one of the three weekend Masses. They participate in the annual Christmas Concert and provide music for Christmas Eve and Triduum Services. They provide outreach to the community with an annual Holiday Concert and community sing-a-long. They also provide music for other special services throughout the year.
The Adult Choir and Music Ensemble rehearse on Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the worship space.

Cantors and instrumentalists provide music for mass and other special events throughout the year. They rehearse on an individual basis with our music director or one of our choirs. Many talented individuals come together to make St. Bernadette Music Ministry the powerful force that it is. There is always room for more and we encourage anyone who would like to join us not to hesitate. After all, as Saint Augustine said, "One who sings, prays twice."

Joy, the small vocal ensemble for adults, provides music for weekend Mass and special services throughout the year. Joy participates in the annual Christmas Concert, Triduum, and Christmas Eve Mass as well as other special services throughout the year.
Joy rehearses on Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the worship space.

Spirit, our teen and pre-teen group, sings for mass two weekends each month from September through Pentecost. They participate in the annual Christmas Concert and provide music for Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday Mass. They also provide the music for special services throughout the year.
Spirit rehearses on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

The Children's Choir (ages 4-12) presents us with their gift of song on various Masses throughout the liturgical year. The Children's Choir is typically scheduled to sing for Easter and Christmas and to participate in the annual Christmas Concert.
